How do you think those would work on elephant?

I am not sure personally. I have not had opportunity to hunt Ele.
I imagine some of the other AHers can help with that question. I have only carried them as back up on Buff. Never shot an animal with one yet tho. Wasn't needed.

How do you think those would work on elephant?

Federal Premium is as good as anything, probably better. At least it's my favorite commercial ammo. And Woodliegh Hydro solids are the modern day go to solid. If you are going after elephant with a 375 loaded with 300 grain bullets, this ammo is what I would use. I used the 400 grain version in a 416 Rem Mag for my elephant and was very pleased.

Only thing that might be a better option is if you used 350 grain bullets, solids of course. But I'm sure the 300's have accounted for many more elephant than the 350's.

If you are going elephant hunting with a 375 H&H and don't have the ammo you need, I'd get these ordered before Mark leaves on his hunt. No guarantees you will find what you need later
