Gday @Bob Nelson 35Whelen
I found this elusive bloke
B723E335-29EF-4466-96BD-53A97DC86C6A.jpeg
He was pretty close to your old poaching grounds across the river from the Nile as he was headed that way until I got him turned around ( probably my directions? ) just lucky he’s a bundy drinker lol

Was great to finally catch up with @CBH Australia after many a year chatting online or via the phone & one we had the great pleasure of spending time with a mutual friend from the states we had only done forums or phones also , so a lot to thank these types of contacts as pretty cool imo

Anyway So your name came up in Cbh & my conversations a couple times hmmm not all bad but hey that’s why a couple times were needed lol & one we just thought you know what , we will have a drink for him but rest assured sir we have set a mug aside for you as noted by the pink bow on the handle for which we officially show you the “Bob mug “

So if you get back down to Tassie one day I would be honoured too fill that mug up & share a drink or two with you

I’d even cook you up a little wallaby saddle like this one

but hey you’ll have to shoot it & guess that’s a possibility these days as I don’t own a 243 anymore ha ha
Cheers mate

@Fordy too funny my friend!!! Love it!!!! When are you going back to Africa after your awesome hunt with Tsala? Great bull by the way!!!!!

Before Bob chimes in about our ugly mugs being in the same image above I’m just gonna leave this here.
On just the right angle, in just the right light, if you drink enough Bundy you will see the close resemblance.
We present to you, “The Bob cup. “

thanks & was a blast all round,

Be on the plane in 3weeks with Rouan to enjoy it all over again & wait until you see what we have in store this year for Rouan & don’t worry Brandon won’t get off the hook either lol so stay tuned on those

Last year was a great trip all round & got no doubt the same will occur again , which just like last year if we get any critters that’s the bonus & a bull like that is definitely a cherry on top of that

I’ll spend a little more time this year paying more attention too leopard ( would love a picture this time as we backed out pretty quickly on the one we saw & no pics taken ) if I get close enough this time I’ll get one tied up for you lol

Cheers mate

@Fordy
Chris @CBH Australia is easily led astray. Just open a bottle of Bundy and he will follow it salivating. Chris is a top bloke.
I couldn't drink out of the mug you want me to because it reminds me to much of what I look like after a few ( read quite a few) bundies.
I enjoyed my time living in Tassie.
That wallaby saddle looks more like something I would leave in the law after a hard night in the piss.
Yes this is a great forum I have caught up with a few Aussies and hope to catch up with more in August. The ones I have met in person from the USA and England are some of the finest people you will meet anywhere but they have a bit of trout with the Aussie accent and our humour is a bit hard for them to understand. Despite the fact they all have a good grasp of the English language they have trouble with strayian language.
I hope Chris behaved himself and played nicely.
I'm glad you haven't got a 243 but Chris will sing if it's virtues. Fortunately the 243 hasn't got any virtues so it should be a short song.
Glad you had a good time and as Chris and others know AH members are welcome at my home or about my campfire.
Bob

Thanks to @Fordy for hosting and the yarns we had that lead to meeting you and “ The Big Fella”
There’s another example of where our Aussie humour wasn’t understood when I first called him the big fella online. Great bloke with a big heart who does embraces the 6.5Manbun jokes and says 30-ought six as easily as it rolls off the tongue of a true American patriot.
He’s gonna have a ball Down Under and have some stories to tell.
He’s tried to Aussie Nectar or Sugarcane Champagne as some members refer to it. Bundy is The Great Aussie Spirit with a rich history.
Hoping he is over the jet lag and has a ball with your mates, and a safe trip home.

@Fordy has been teaching me Aussi humor and now I LMAO when I read all of you guys post!!!! I absolutely am going to have to come over and visit you guys!!!
@Rare Breed
Come on over y'all will be welcome at my place.
I will educate you in Bundy rum, Vegemite and the horrors of the 243.
No 30 ought six but 25 and 35.
We will introduce you to our famous meat pies as well.
Just don't come the raw prawn at the pub or someone will probably snot ya.
Ha ha ha Ha Ha
Bob
