We at AH are blessed to include in our fraternity persons with exceptional skills. With their advice, we have the opportunity to raise our level of their skill sets.
If they will consent to hold forth on the finer points!
For example, Tanks has shot a little over a million rounds, much of it in pistol competition. He is fast and accurate. There are folks who would probably pay to be tutored at that skill level. Could we persuade him to codify some of his knowledge in a permanently accessible repository of skills? I would invite him to do so.

If I were to risk a hunt in a marginally dangerous area, my choice for advice on security would be MidWest!

High end rifles--Rookhawk, perhaps others. Optics--our own Phillip Glass

There are many other fields, skills, regional expertise. Let the games begin. Who will spell out for us their entry in a Repository of Skills?

With all these people you mentioned, I can assign here only as a student.
Following.

You know something that others do not. We want to hear about it.

My most interesting skills are remodels and procuring things way way cheaper than most people think possible. Unfortunately those are really hard to share unless anyone wanted to come to flyover country and hang out.

Well, not sure this is a skill but I have overseen somewhere north of 120,000 car deals in a long career. Happy to help with automotive advice or sell you a Toyota or Lexus if you have the want or need.
Where are you located!
What advice would you give on car purchase--any inside tricks to avoid overpaying?

I have a masters degree in GIS mapping software and forest management, along with a lifetime of applying to southern pine and hardwood hunting land. I can help with property management questions if you have a issue.

I’m the market for a FJ Cruiser in the fall…

Military logistics and operations and if anyone needs a history teacher…

I am not sure how much of a skill it is, or at least a usable skill... but I probably know a bit more about painting fish than some folks.

Chattanooga, TN.

The best thing I can say is COVID changed everything. The market decides the value now. Not the manufacturers and not the dealers. Demand is still very strong for some brands and supply is tight. For others, oversupply and lower demand is a huge issue. With our brands we have some of both issues. Abundance and under-supply across different model lines.

I would advise people to choose their brand and shop around to find the dealer that makes them most comfortable. The investments are so large and the businesses so valuable that most dealers now operate in a very customer focused fashion. There is too much to risk by being shady. Obviously there are still some holdouts to the old school ways but your direct interactions with the dealer should tell your spidey senses which one you have. Find the dealer you like and use the internet to educate you on the market. The good dealers actually appreciate an informed consumer who uses the information as a tool rather than a weapon.

I could drone on for volumes. I will spare you. But, I am happy to have direct conversations with anyone needing help or advice. Just reach out. I won’t judge your questions, I will just help any way I can.

Very interesting, I used to map near shore and offshore wrecks, hangs , obstructions, , craters, pipelines. For commercial and recreational fishing purposes.
Converting LORAN C T/D #’s to DGPS #s
The underwater GIS from Mexico to the Mississippi River Delta is fascinating

I can convert certain foods to a gaseous state with almost zero conversion loss and only the minor addition of a distinct odor.

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.
