Pleased they arrived safely Art and are as anticipated.
This is a special Africa Hunting EDC in Buffalo horn away this week.
The edc small game knife has been getting some real interest from the outlets I have secured so far so it looks like there is going to be a number of them doing service here in NZ. Of course they will be in standard behind the hip sheaths without our AH logo.
Well as my British friends would say "Jolly Good Show."
Great to hear @Von Gruff!
Thanks and not just for these comments but for the encouragement from the forum to do more than make a knife or two for myself, otherwise I might have been sitting back in my retirement wondering what to do to fill in the days.
Another two of the little EDC ready to go out from the forum group buy
One in blackwood one and one in Swamp Kauri in traditional sheaths.
Dont forget to enter into the Buffalo Skinner knife giveaway https://www.africahunting.com/threa...knife-by-von-gruff-in-a-random-drawing.45655/
And remember that knives make for great Christmas or other signifigant milestone presents so check out my website for this or other knives
Another Buffalo horn EDC ready to ship off
Garry, your knives looks beautiful, keep up the great work..
Giraffe bone on this EDC is a very nice option that I hope to be able to offer soon on all my knives.
Garry, I'm glad to see that others find the beauty in your working knives. I'm reminded of an old saying "form follows function." The quality and pride that you put into every knife you make is blatantly obvious.
Thanks Art. I am really humbled by the response from the members here which has encouraged what has been a life long interest to become a full blown addictive passion.
Another Africa Hunting EDC in Buffalo horn in the cross draw sheath shipped off this week. I have altered my pattern for the belt loop and given the sheath a little more angle after one buyer reported losing his knife even though he didn't think it was the sheath
I like the improvement. Now gravity is working for you.
This pair are the Africa Hunting pattern in .156 1095 with one having Eucalyptus scales and the other having walnut over buffalo horn bolsters. They are for non forum members so do not have the AH logo on the sheath
Hi Garry, First I want to compliment you on your continued beautiful and practical hunting knives. You asked me to let you know if my wife passed her Zimbabwe Professional Hunters Proficiency exam, I am proud to say she passed. Zimbabwe now has two female Professional Hunters and I am very lucky to have one as my wife!
A local knife maker (who has been very ill) made her a very small set of skinning knives as a graduation gift, very suited for antelope and fine work. I will try to get a picture posted for you.
Thanks Lon. As noted in our email chat, I would very much like to make her a knife to celebrate this milestone in her career, whether it is a knife for the field or the kitchen. I know from our discussion that she has the heavy skinner and now the small skinner so with those areas covered can you convey an invitation to make a choice from the designs on my website and contact me email@example.com on what would be a prefered knife as a gift for this momentous occasion.
