I am trying to map out my first trip to Africa but it is a balancing act. My wife does not hunt. As a result, any trip for me to hunt in Africa will probably have to also involve time at a resort or be done from a location that has the standard vacation type amenities. I am wondering how realistic this divided time is on a reasonable budget? Also, does anyone have any advice on suitable resorts or other standard vacation spots that would allow for me to hunt? One idea I have is that I have access to a resort property in Kenya - I am wondering if a solution would be to spend a week there but then travel within Africa to a place for the hunting? I am open to any ideas or advice anyone may have. Thanks.
