is this an old 'fowl' gun they used to mount on a small canoe in the old days?:wow:

Probably a 2 GA size (diameter of a half pound lead ball if memory serves me correctly). Punt guns ( a punt being a small boat:) were used to hunt waterfowl commercially a century ago. That is today's lesson. It must be beer 30 somewhere in the world now!
