I’m loading my 9.3x62 with WLR primers. I’m seeing posts on other forums where some folks are using magnum primers. The case doesn’t seem to justify it. Anyone have experience comparing magnum and are primers in the 9.3?

Yes sir have used both WLR and WLRM. I get better accuracy from the WLR. No need for a magnum primer for 60 grs of powder.

Use wlr as well better accuracy than with mag and less pressure

I've used both Remington and Winchester Large Rifle primers. Never found a need for a Mag Primer in that cartridge.

I also use standard large rifle primers for both the 62mm and the 64mm Brenneke.

Not tried magnum primers yet but i'm not sure there is any benefit in cartridges of around 60 - 70 gn capacity ??

That was my thought as well, but I had seen posts in another forum indicating some were using magnum primers so I thought I’d check.
