Why not stay with the standard options and have less meat damage? (Unless you are hoping to shoot more than 350 yards and want a flatter trajectory.)Does anyone factory load a light for caliber bullet to full potential for the 9.3x62. Looking for a deer load.
232 gr Oryx has such a low BC that by the time it reaches 300 yards, it has decelerated down past where the 285 Oryx is.Why not stay with the standard options and have less meat damage? (Unless you are hoping to shoot more than 350 yards and want a flatter trajectory.)

I have not tested velocity. I can say that they group very tight at 100 yards out of mine.I’ve been seeing those on midway. Have you tried them out yet? Interested in the accuracy and muzzle velocity if you get to test them.
+1! A year ago, those were $55-65/box. I know the cost of material (brass, copper, primers, powder) and labor have gone up in price, but for a major ammo manufacturer, those price increases are absurd in that short period of time. But many are doing it. I think they are taking advantage of the ammo/component shortage. They better be careful, because the potential number of new shooters/hunters may take up a different pastime and leave the manufacturers holding onto their products in a warehouse somewhere. At over $5 a round they can keep them. I can load my own with Swift A frames cheaper than that and I like the Nosler AB’s.
That is one of the major motivating factors in getting people into rolling their own ammo. I have noticed Nosler has double their prices on bullets also. That should make Swift happy. I tend to have a long memory for companies who take advantage of their customers in times of shortages.
