Finally got my hands on some 320 grain Woodleighs for my 9.3X62 and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Federal LR Primers
RWS Brass
Alliant RL15
320 grain RNSN Woodleigh Weldcores
Ruger African 23" barrel
57 grains of RL15 averaged right on 2300fps
57.5 grains of RL15 averaged 2310fps
58 grains of RL15 averaged 2330fps

A 320 grain projectile at 2330fps is 375H&H territory and in my opinion with about 25% less felt recoil. Seriously considering taking my 9.3X62 over my 375H&H on a scrub bull hunt this year. The load with 58 grains of RL15 proved accurate as well, below is a 3 shot group at 50 metres with a 4 power scope, even with the flyer (which I'm pretty sure was me) it's sitting at 0.8". I've really fallen in love with the 9.3X62, it's very quickly becoming my all time favourite cartridge.

@Aussie_Hunter
I'm planing on taking my 35 Whelen on a scrub bull hunt this year loaded with 310gn Woodleigh RNSP at 2455fps using 62gn of 2209/H4350. Should do the job well, accuracy is outstanding

Great caliber and great bullet.....
Here we get a 300gr. 9.3 premium bullet with sd of .320.....super performance
@IvW
The sd of the 35 cal 310gn Woodleigh is .346.
The 275gn Woodleigh PPSP is .307
Right up there neat the 375 350gn at .356.
All should penetrate well.

Very deep into 375 H&H territory for sure. This caliber has always intrigued me, but I just haven't found a rifle so chambered that suites me yet. Sure, I could get a 9.3 barrel for my R8, but it offers zero advantages, other than lighter recoil, over my 375.
The Rigby Highland Stalker is what I'd really like to have, but their pricing has gone crazy high in the last few years.
I lightweight rifle in 9.3 is definitely appealing.

Both the 9.3 and the .375 with H and H or Ruger, run within a zone that any game animal won’t know the difference between them. I myself have the Ruger and 9,3 and find them about equal in performance. I wouldn’t hesitate to use either one for anything I’d need to put a bullet through.
