This last bull pictured is a fantastic example of a non-trophy, non-exportable bull. He’s older, temples are somewhat sunken and taking such a bull is a trophy class hunt, regardless of the size of the ivory.

Question out of interest - if the hunter is a SA resident or has a SA domicile can he / she keep the ivory and other parts of the trophy ? I get that its non exportable but is it ok domestic ?

Cheers

.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
