470 ne chapuis at 50 yards

I know I leave a lot of target pictures here but like to share with people that know what they are talking about.
These were shot at 50 yards. The black bull is 7 inches.
Top bull is shot with 500 grain Swift A Fra es at averge speed of 2068 fps off of sticks.
Middle target was 500 grain Hornady DGX off sticks. This made me happy I got a good deal on them and they will make good practice bullets. Non bonded.

Bottom target is 500 grain Swift A Frames off hand.
So what do you think cape buffalo accuracy?

Looking good and keep up the practice, I put 200+ rounds through my .470ne before my tuskless hunt.

Keep an eye out for those unbonded Hornady bullets, I use them for practice too and I'm running low on them.

Also, on rare occasion Midway will have factory 2nds of the bonded version for sale.

With irons or red dot?

Red dot I still need to drift the rear sights a little left. I shoot better with the red dot but want the irons ready.

Awesome, I just got my first double and even with a red dot at 50 yards off hand I was pretty terrible lol. My eyes suck so irons are almost out of the question unless it’s 25 yards or less

Yep shooting a big calibre double takes some getting used to. Practice practice practice.
