450 TSX in .458 WM

he still lists the 400 grain load
True that for the 416; however, I think the leading/primary/favorite load for the 416 is the 350 for DG+PG and with the 350 solid as backup for DG. For me as a novice, I don't think 50gr makes that much difference if loaded and placed properly.

It doesn't make much difference in terminal performance, but it does make a difference in trajectory for a combination load.

This is a recovered 450gr TSX from 458 WInMag factory Barnes ammunition, Game was a very large Vancouver Bull in Hawaii.

I have really no idea on pounds but body was about the same size as my Cape Buffalo and neck was definitely bigger. The neck on this thing was massive. I wish I had taken more pictures with my own phone to show size,

Perhaps, but it does seem like they are favoring the 450 these days, so perhaps Barnes will release the 400 for public consumption... one can hope.
unless the contract ends, they will not offer them to the public

Be careful of hunting Chewore South, the area has been decimated.....

Curious about this. I hunted Chewore South with D&Y in September and they did tell me it was there last hunt there.

Which outfits shot it out?
