.416 Rigby - Last Range Trip

Got the .416 Rigby listed on gun broker and thought I’d take it to the range one last time

400gr Hornady Factory & 410gr Woodleigh hand loads 50yds standing with open sights

Love going to the indoor range and touching off my big bores just so I can hear the entire range go silent as all the guys banging away their AR-15s look at me with big eyes….

How come you are parting with it?

Would make me sad to sell that rifle, unless maybe to fund a double.

That is great shooting. Were you using "sticks" of some sort or was that strictly off-hand? What kind of sights are on that rifle?

Why am I selling? Well I should have landed 4 days ago for a water Buffalo hunt in Australia; unfortunately Covid put that on hold….

I’ll get there some day 264!

Also I have a .404J that should be coming back from the smith soon.

As far as a shooting rest- yes I have a set of BOG POD bi pod shooting sticks that I sit on the bench and use to rest the forarm
