HI GUYS!

I HAVE BEEN OFFERED A MINT CONDITION MAUSER DOUBLE SQUARE BRIDGE 375H&H.

ITS A LIMITED NUMBER GUN MADE FOR THE 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

CANT REMEMBER WHAT THE NO IS NOW. THINK WAS 34/100.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE VALUE IS?

IT COMES COMPLETE WITH CASE AND LITERATURE.

ONLY EVER FIRED THE PROOF ROUNDS AT THE FACTORY.

ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

CHEERS.

The new model 98 double square bridge runs about $13000-$14000 based on their booth at DSC last year. Could not find a 100th Anniversary edition listed anywhere to check a current value.

Thanks for looking.

Cant find very much info on it as well.

Hoping there is a Mauser nut on AH that will be able to help.

All I could find was this pic.

The one I am interested in look exactly the same.

Good luck in your search. If you make a deal, lets us know. Velo Dog is a big Mauser fan, you might ask him for his opinion!

Hi

I did buy it. Thanks for referring me to Velo dog. He gave me some good info on it.

Will post pictures as soon as I cleaned it up a bit.

Wel I bought it and this is what it looks like.

Must say i am quite pleased.

That is one stunning rifle. A good purchase Sir!! Nice case too

Absolutely beautiful. Whenever or wherever you come out with that, you will get a lot of attention.

Stunning rifle!

Congratulations on your purchase

I had one of them in .416 Rigby, 067/100..

I sold mine because it was simply too light for calibre and since it was a commemorative model I did not want to alter it, so I sold it.

However, the action is very very nice, made by Golmatic I believe....and I think in .375H&H it is definetly a keeper.....they will probably also rise in value..

Thanks all.

Cant wait to get it in the bush.

I am hoping it will increase in value and that I didn't pay to much for it.

... I am hoping ... that I didn't pay to much for it.

Not everyone thinks like this or will even agree with me on this, but it doesn't matter what you paid. If you got what you wanted, and were happy with the deal when you made it, then enjoy your good fortune. Don't look back and start second guessing things. Sure others will have similar rifles of varying quality and cost, but remember you got what you wanted and will have years of use and memories with it.

Just my $0.02 worth. Yeah, I'm cheap so don't expect too much.

Roan, that is a great looking rifle, but did I miss the actual manufacturers name ?
Is it a Mauser by the current Mauser factory ?

It looks to be well put together, so long as it functions properly and shoots minute of buffalo you're in good shape.
Perfect all round plains game, and good for buff too.

It pains to me suggest that a firearm such as this will probably outlast our sport.

Good hunting to you.
