My new 375 just showed up and I have 100 pcs of brass and bunch of.bullets from 235 up to 300s. I have a good size shot of reloader 16. Does anyone have any load data for that powder in the 375?

Sorry, I use H-414. If you’ve got any I can help you out with some ideas.

Go to The Hodgon reloading website, and type in all different combinations. I bet CFE233 will work with the lighter bullets. And I know H4350 will work with the 300s.
I use reloader 15 with good results, and like @WAB like H414 for 270s and 300s.

H4350 is what I use for it, my 9.3, and a few others.

'have plenty of load data at home featuring RL 15 and 19 yielding even higher velocity than you mention. What do you plan on using the rifle for? The 350 grain bullets perform even better on dangerous game startlingly similar to a 416. I'll share later after the toiling at the family Farm ends for this weekend...

Didn't know they made a Re-16...............I began loading the 375 40 years ago. My best load was and is 67 grains of 4064 behind a 300 grain bullet( the usual caveats apply).........best of luck on your loading.........FWB

Reloder 16 has a burning rate similar to the 4350s. I would use IMR4350 or H4350 starting loads and work up from there. Starting loads from the Hodgdon manual: about 78gn for 270 gn bullets and about 75gn for 300gn. 235gn bullets will need a faster-burning powder. Reloder 16 is less dense than the 4350s so you might not be able to get enough in the case to achieve near-maximum loads.

I should be able to track down some 414. Hows the velocity with the 414?

Probably way more info than you want:

.375 H&H, 22” bbl, Swaro Z6 EE, 1-6x

300 gr Swift A-Frame
74.0 gr H-414
CCI-250 primers
Norma Brass
LOA 3.585”
2500 fps

Trajectory:
100 yds +2.75”
200 yds =0.0”
300 yds -12”

In my rifle this is a 0.5 moa load.

As always start low and work up on your charge watching for pressure signs.

I'm gonna bump this up one more time in case there is any new info out there for the reloader 16

I have been unable to find any published data. Adding up the facts:
IMR 4350 and R16 have similar burning rates,
IMR 4530 requires compressed powder charges and
R16 is quite a bit less dense than IMR 4350.
I conclude that one would be unable to stuff enough R16 into a .375 H&H case to get reasonably high velocity.
This is exactly what I found with the .358 Norma, achieving around 50fps lower velocity with loads that were not excessively compressed.

I have a load of 300gr SGK @ 3.60"oal GM215M & 74.5gr's with VVN550. I think RL16 would be very similar. Those two powders have been interchangeable in my 6XC and 8X68s loads.

Ok. I need to do dome checking on that. I've got like 16lb of it do if I can use it that would be awesome. If it's super slow maybe it would be good for the 350gr bullets

N550 is very dense compared to R16.
Filling the same cartridge case to the top 102.9 grains of N550 would fit vs 91.4 grains of R16

Interesting. I'm guessing the case would fill up before you got enough powder to matter then?
