300 Holland & Holland (pre war)

My 300 H and H, as it was, except for a new recoil pad. Manufactured in 1929.

The pre-war H&H and Rigby rifles are hard to beat. Thin barrels and thin stocks with short forearms make them a pleasure to shoot and carry. Great pointability.

Very nice collection. Do you have any interest in selling a 375 take down?

Im with you, great calibers. Im going to post about one of my pre war 416s soon. The previous owner just happens to be one Mr. Walter Dalrymple Maitland Bell. ♥️
Well,, That`s absolutely awesome to see! Bell apparently had 2 of those if I`m not mistaken.
Bell was famous among other things for using lighter caliber rifles on everything from doves to elephants and as far as I know never mentioned in his books him using 416 Rigby. He might have used them for impressing the local ladys up in Karamoja district for all I know,,but, something tells me they could come in very handy now and then, and very much so!
Fantastic to see at least one of them are known and obviously in very good hands. Excellent!

You have an incredible collection!

Nothing feeds like a 300H&H, they are an absolute joy to shoot as I am finding out in the one I just put together.
