As Sunday at DSC this year was winding down, not only was I bummin' as several fun days were coming to a close I was not looking forward to having to go back to work. Considering the economic malaise we continue to live in, it's good to have a job and I'm thankful for it. But I knew some very long days and including many weekends were on the menu. Well the project I'm on is finally finishing up and I can take time to actually think about the trip. So three weeks from today almost to the exact hour, my son Austin and I will be boarding the big bird en route to Kimberly. I used frequent flyer miles to get these tickets which made things a bit challenging. So we'll actually fly to L.A. on Friday the 24th, spend the night near LAX and leave out the next morning headed for Frankfurt then Jo'burg then Kimberley and finally a short drive with Jacques and Hartzview! Rifles are almost ready, one last one to sight in that will happen tomorrow. Just a little bit of clothes shopping and we'll be fully ready!
