I have a quick question regarding the shipping of crated trophies. I was informed yesterday that my crate of trophies from my 2024 hunt was being put into a con/box and that it would be shipping from Africa to Houston by the end of the month. My question is how does the US agent or importer know that a persons crate has in fact been delivered and is now in the US ??

mine flew in. I used coppersmith for import. Once I filled out all the coppersmith paperwork they were in direct contact with the shipping company (African Legacy logistics) and tracked the shipment all the way to Dallas. So basically it’s not much different than you tracking your package via UPS to your door.

Thank you for your response, I have also chosen Coppersmith to handle the importation and clearing my trophies through the importation processes.

Coppersmiths will keep you informed on the progress of your crate, I have never done sea freight but would think that their services wouldn’t slip due to the method of shipment.
The shipment of trophies can be nerve racking and they help smooth things over.

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

Appreciate your Limcroma/Franco comments. Will be seeing him in April....again. great person as well as his family (he has a new born son). I will always recommend him who makes a hunt special and exciting. Marc

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
