Well Everyone, to my surprise, this memory popped up from 10 years ago! Ten Years!!!! Where has time gone? Many of the older Africahunting.com members here will remember this photoshoot that we had for Movember in 2014.
Movember is a global campaign to raise awareness for Men's Health Issues, such as Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer etc.

Movember rules state that you have to grow your Mo. No shaving your moustache from the 1st of November until the 30th of November. It can be any style. Standard, Handlebars, Trucker, Motorhead or whatever.

Please join us to celebrate Men's Health and grow your Mo. Would love to see some photos of progress posted here to this thread as we get through the month. We have something special to celebrate for the 10 year anniversary which we will post after the 30th.... :)

Well thanks!! It took almost ten years to get that vision out of my brain, then you have to put it back!! Now the twitch is back, too..

I would probably advise you stay off AH on 1 December in order to avoid further scarring. ;)

Let me tell you, not sure how you guys with the fulltime moustaches do it. Could barely hold on for the month, but we got it done for Movember and men's health. Now my wife says that it's grown on her....
Take care of yourself, men.

Looks like the latest version of the Village People. Do your YMCA thang.
Beat me to it - I could hear someone singing .........

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

gives one that gay and carefree feeling!

Moderators, is there a way to "ignore" a post without blocking everything?
I once grew facial hair then auctioned off the removal. That's a really bad idea, by the way...
At least it's for a good cause. Carry on, gentlemen..

For those of Us scheduled for Cancer colin surgery this month, well its not a simple dismiss this joke. Keep up on your health, so you can continue to hunt for many years.
I have a couple more weeks before going under the knife, then I certainly hope to be back to speak with you all.
Merry Christmas

In celebration of the anniversary, I will repost my original post.

The sign of a quality individual is when they can make a self-depreciating post about themselves! ;)

Merry Christmas.

Great Christmas card.

Photo reminded me of that other African, Freddie Mercury.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
