I have not done much tourist stuff there but on my first trip my PH drove me up to the Mapungubwe National Park and Heritage Center in the north of Limpopo.
Here you stand above the Limpopo River, and can see Zim and Botswana from there. You can then go right down to the river and go on the "tree walk", an elevated walkway thru the trees.
I really enjoyed my visit there, very memorable.
