When Sitatunga hunting and shooting from a machan do guys typically set up with a solid rest of sorts like a tripod to cradle the rifle? Considering the distance might be fairly lengthy I’m curious as to how the shot goes down and how guys get solid.

Has anyone hunted Tsessebe in the Bangweulu swamps? I’ll be there in September for Black Lechwe and am adding Tsessebe as well. I know there are thousands of lechwe but curious about the tsessebe numbers. It is a 1 day hunt in route to another location.

I’m looking at the Kalispel double gun cases and was curious as to what the advantage of the safari style case is vs the traditional double rifle case…yes I’m aware the 2nd. photo shown is a single case…it is being used to illustrate what I mean by traditional style case.
