    African Huntin Boots

This is a topic where everybody seems to have a different opinion. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the Courteney Safari Boots.

Meet Henry, The World's Oldest Crocodile

As a general rule I am against the naming of wild animals. That's what antis do when an animal is killed that they get butt sore about (See Cecil the Lion). Does that make me a fuddy duddy?

Not true with me. The company pays for the flights and the airline points belong to me. That seems to be the normal these days.

    Free Flights to Africa

I consider myself very fortunate. I live in the USA and work as a contractor for the US Army. Within the last 12 months my company has sent me to Greece, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, The Netherlands, and Spain. I fly Delta every time. I am going to South Africa for my first safari ever this...

Who taught you how to hunt, and when?

I grew up in Maryland in a non-hunting family. My Dad never hunted. Not that he was against it or an "anti", it was just never a consideration. After 1 year of college I joined the United States Army. After a few years in the Army I got stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where I would meet...

    Time for Dip and Pack

I have. It is my experience that taxidermists, generally, exaggerate the shortness of the time it will take to get your trophys back. My "you will have it in 10 months" bear, took over 2 years. I like to get real world information.

    Is this legal/a good idea?

If someone is nefarious enough to steal or tamper with your belongings I simply don't see how this would prevent them from doing it. Africa prices?

You don't HAVE to pay the broker fee. It depends on where your trophies come in as to how necessary it is. Baltimore is very easy and can be cleared in person, filling out the forms, with no broker needed.

No. To be honest. I am a retired Immigration and Customs Special Agent. I know everybody at the Baltimore port. I’m planning on showing up when they do. Seeing old friends, shaking hands, and walking my stuff through.

Taxidermy - There or here? Made my decision

Taxidermy - There or here? Made my decision

My first trip ever to Africa will be this June when I will be PG hunting in RSA. Perhaps my Courteney Safari's are great because I put my orthodics in them. Support galore. Boots that are too restrictive to start with wont allow my orthodic to fit inside.

    Hello everyone first Africa trip

Hi Zach. I am going over for my 1st trip in June. Our lists are exactly alike except you have a Springbuck where I have a Honey Badger. And I also have a zebra. I did my research on boots and went with a pair of Courteney Safaris. Enjoy!

    Recent dip and ship cost

I want to respectfully offer a different opinion. Many have said, basically, that shipping was going to be too much money and now they aren't going to ship anything back and have the memories. Offhand vs. Sticks

I have a RSA trip scheduled for June. I contacted my PH and asked him what sticks he will be carrying for me to shoot off of while I am there. I then went and purchased the exact same sticks so I can practice off them and get used to them. That's my 2 cents.
