Not true with me. The company pays for the flights and the airline points belong to me. That seems to be the normal these days.

I have. It is my experience that taxidermists, generally, exaggerate the shortness of the time it will take to get your trophys back. My "you will have it in 10 months" bear, took over 2 years. I like to get real world information.

You don't HAVE to pay the broker fee. It depends on where your trophies come in as to how necessary it is. Baltimore is very easy and can be cleared in person, filling out the forms, with no broker needed.

You are right. Time is a factor. RSA told me 6-8 months. My USA based taxidermist told me 14 months. But... I also don't want to sacrifice time for quality of work.

Perhaps my Courteney Safari's are great because I put my orthodics in them. Support galore. Boots that are too restrictive to start with wont allow my orthodic to fit inside.

I have a RSA trip scheduled for June. I contacted my PH and asked him what sticks he will be carrying for me to shoot off of while I am there. I then went and purchased the exact same sticks so I can practice off them and get used to them. That's my 2 cents.
