    Scope recommendations on a .404J

You might want to have a look at teh Meopta R2 1-6. It has long eye relief and good glass and is good value, or as above the Trijicon which also has good eye relief.

Best Red Dot/RMR for 458 Lott

I had a Leupold Delta point on my CZ .500 J but swapped it for a Trijicon RMR.I found the protector around the screen wasnt strong enough on the Leupold and when it got knocked it put the screen out of whack and the dot was unusable. I think the Trijicon is a stronger design. I have the triangle...

W.J.JEFFERY & CO. Hand Crafted Big Game Rifles

I understand that many will think the rifles are over priced, but they are priced competitively with other English hand made rifles. The prices reflect the cost of the components and the time of the craftsmen to build the rifles. They are limited production and are for a small market who want...

    Viper-Flex Shooting Sticks

I find the viper flex really useful. I took a set of the Blaser quad sticks to Africa last year, but the twist lock on the legs wasnt robust enough for travelling in a bumpy Land Cruiser. The Viper flex are more robust and I use them in the UK and find them excellent. Will be taking Viper flex...

    Winchester safari express or Alaskan?

Have had both, but prefer the Alaskan. The safari express is a bit too heavy for a .375 for me and I find the Alaskan handles better.

    W.J. Jeffery back in business!

    Using Thermal Imaging for Hunting

I use one in the UK and it is a useful aid to picking up animals that you might otherwise miss, mostly for Roe stalking but have used on the hill in Scotland as well.
