Hello, Vertigo, hunting is banned in India, in most States. Only wild boar could be shot, but with a forest ranger watching over the action. And we’re now (2021) permitted to keep only 2 weapons per person. I’m heading out to RSA next month on safari and will write in about it all! Cheers!

I used the 450/400 3-1/4” for many years on elephant, leopard and wild boar. My dad shot about 5-6 tigers (1950-60) with it, all one shot kills. Excellent cartridge; we’re a rather short-built family so this was preferred over the .465 & .470 rifles which were seldom used.
