Excellent rifle! Well done. I have a somewhat similar build on order but only in 450-400. I’ve been able to wait patiently but seeing this makes me anxious. The last estimate I had on delivery was April 2024 but that would be just over two years so sounds like I have a bit more waiting to do.
This is the kilombero model with steel receiver. The trigger housing is steel as well. No kickstop installed wearing the aimpoint acro comes in right at 10.5 pounds. Very easy to instal or remove kickstop with 5mm Allen wrench (which is the same as the barrel screws).
Clearing out some excess stock. All prices shipped in the U.S. were legal to receive ammo shipments. I would like to sell in the groups listed before breaking anything up.

Here is one. Auction closing in 5 hours. Current bid is $100 over current retail so depends if you’re willing to pay extra to have one now.
For sale is a Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus 12 Gauge 3.5in chambers and 28in barrel. Gun is in new condition. I shot one of these and liked the reduced recoil compared to my Benelli. However it feels like a bigger and heavier gun in the hands than the SBE3 and think I prefer handling the trimmer...
I made an impulse buy on these from Europtic as they were selling them at a pretty good deal as a demo. I tested them out against some other rangefinders and are in good working order. Asking $750 shipped in the U.S. Electronic payment via PayPal or Zelle. Check or money order also works.
Bought this unit about 1 year ago and haven’t even gotten around to trying it out but now I’m intrigued to get one of the new garmins. Price includes Labradar unit, carry case, benchtop tripod and battery pack. Current retail over $600. Asking $400 shipped in the U.S. electronic payment via...
Ruger Red Label Stainless 12 gauge. Barrel length 28 inches and weight 8 lbs. This is the all stainless steel version with black composite stock that was produced for only a short period of time. In like new condition with original box, papers and factory accessories (flush chokes, choke wrench...
Thanks. I’ve only had it since the beginning of November but have tried Barnes flat point solids, DGX, NF percussion points, NF cup point solids and A-Frames. Feeds all of them perfectly and probably more accurate than I am. Nothing booked currently. I have 4 very young ones at home that will...
The current production 404J does match the specs of the Big Game in 416. This one weighs in at 10lb 6oz bare. If they eventually offered the 404J in the lighter weight version i think that would be a nice set up. This could lose a pound and still be very pleasant to shoot.
For sale is a Leupold Delta Point pro with AHR mount for CZ 550. The dot size is 2.5mm. Optic and mount in like new condition. I don’t have a rifle that needs it and can’t really get use to these on pistols. $400 shipped in the U.S.
For sale is custom barrel in 338-06 made by Palehorse Zero. Finish is graphite black cerakote and twist rate is 1:10. I have not fired the barrel but did mount it on my R8 to test fit and function. Included is 100 new Norma cases with 338-06 headstamp, new Redding dies and Redding tapered sizer...
Sounds like you have your bases covered as far as working rifles go. A lot of good suggestions have been made on rifles that would be in the next tier and available with any upgrade you would be looking for. The question I would ask yourself is it any of the nostalgia or other intangible stuff...
Thanks! I have a Rigby big game and most of the rifle is nitride finish except for some accent parts and the bolt handle which is blued and very highly polished which makes sense based on this.
There have been a few who mentioned the preferred set up is no checkering on the bolt knob. That is how my rifle is built but hadn’t really considered the advantage of that compared to a bolt handle with checkering. Can someone educate me on that?
Is it true that there are some regional preferences on the proper length of pull all else being equal? I thought that Europeans favored longer pull compared to Americans.
I experimented with this using a vortex 3x prism. Not an ACOG but similar specs. I could not get if far back enough using a pic rail on a weatherby mark v backcountry. You basically need to use them on an AR with a short LOP so the end of the rail is right in your face. Maybe the next Gen of...
A couple of issues I can think of would be that I am not aware of any mounting options for these other than pic rail nor have I seen a mount lower than standard height AR cowitness which is very high for most other rifles. They also have very short eye relief.
This situation does not necessarily give me the warm and fuzzies but wanted to clear up a few items that might be confusing in this fact pattern. I have well over 100 reviews as a seller on gunbroker and I’m not an FFL or in the gun business so I have a decent amount of experience selling on...
Rigby Big Game is now available in 404J. Maybe a bit more costly but probably not that much more than the work of a top builder. The US Rigby dealers had a few available about a month ago.
@mikesheree if you are ok with a hammer double you might want to look into the Pedersoli Kodiak in 45-70. New they are going for about $6k. Used anywhere from $3500 to $5000 depending on condition. I have one and I find it to be a nice quality gun.
