Most direct is to Johannesburg SA. 15 hour flight from the east coast. Overnight then about a 2 hour flight to Windhoek. You can also go through Europe or the middle east but it adds travel time.
I highly recommend Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris. Philip runs a very good operation and has excellent facilities. Message me for more details if you want.
For quite a few years I have been using the Lee Precision Measure Kit. That and a trickler. With that much powder per charge I want to go slow and steady to get right. Hasn't failed me yet.
If talking Barnes exclusively the 270 grain has been left out of this discussion. I have gotten great accuracy and with a tough bullet like the TSX you should be covered for planet earth.
I have only hunted Namibia but will say traveling there was quite easy. A number of operators there. I used Khomas Highland hunting safaris, Philip Hennings, and have no trouble recommending them.
Funny! I was just testing with 4064 the other day and got to 67.0 grains. I decided to stop there and test further with more range time. Must be a sweet spot at 67 grains.
