SOUTH AFRICA: Troskie Hunt Review. 59+ Inch Kudu And More Highly Recommended Outfitter

Next to the last day, we sat in the shade in a secret spot and watched Impala come to the river to drink, waiting on a couple big ones. We connected again. :-) If you ever go with Chris on safari, ask him about why we named my rifle "The Freight Train" after taking that first Impala at...

We didnt connect with anything the next two days and the hunting got hard and slow, but that's why it's called hunting and not shooting! Waiting on the safari truck after a 2.5 hour wildebeest stalk. Busted...damn wind! The next day was my daughters day and she connected with a 51 inch...

    404 Jeffery vs 375 Holland & Holland

^^ Yeah, I kind of hated to put a deposit down before going to SCI in Vegas, BUT Chris had the time frame I needed available, pricing was fair, and Ive seen some great reviews and had great feedback on him. Plus we want to do one or two days on horseback, so that works out too.

    404 Jeffery vs 375 Holland & Holland

A valid point and something Ive considered. I may drop one of the leverguns out of the battery, OR mebbe the 06. It will largely depend on what my daughter is most comfortable with. But I def am taking at least one levergun, just becasue. Damn the paperwork/fees/ammo It a friggin Safari and I'm...

    404 Jeffery vs 375 Holland & Holland

Ive settled on a new CZ in 404 Jeff and a second in either 375 H&H or 300 Win Mag I made some calls today and can get a CZ 550 Safari Classic with the grade A wood new for less than the used one if I wait for the SCI show in Vegas, so thats a no brainer. My daughter's a good shooter and avid...

    404 Jeffery vs 375 Holland & Holland

So I've been looking at lots of guns for my and my daughters upcoming Safari, I had pretty much settled on a 375 for both of us or 300mag or 30-06 for her IF the 375 was too stiff. BUT Ive always kind of wanted a 404 Jeff just becasue. Something about saying 'yeah, that ones a 404 Jeffery", just...
