I have absolutely no experience on this subject. I have been told that if you lung hit a crocodile and they make it to the water there lungs will fill forcing them back on land. No clue if it's true bUT it makes sense. Agreement with heavy arrow and fixed blade broadhead.

Jeff, I have been running there strings and cables for years along with the limb driver rest. Never had anything but praise for there products. I have no anoying twisting over time, peep comes back the exact way every shot.

I'm a board member of my local sci chapter, we have gotten no word from National but to make no comments to the press. I have always been proud to support sci but I will admit I'm getting tired of the no news. My only hope is that the lobbyists for sci are working hard behind the scenes.

There are major differences on how an arrow kills vs a bullet. An arrow kills mainly by hemorrhage while a bullet causes shock and force. Think of an arrow like an axe, it splits with little impact serface. A bullet mushrooms (generally speaking) needing more energy to penetrate.

Good advice as always, one thing to consider is with today's technology a 50lb bow can do just about anything you need, bows have gotten incredibly efficient.
