Did you end up hunting in Africa in 1983? Oddly enough July 1983, was our (my father and I) first trip to Africa. We hunted in Matetsi with Piers Taylor of Trophy Hunters Africa.

Man that was a heck of a package. Found this going through some old Africa documents. CAR hunt in 1989 with Alain Lefol. You can see my father's notes on it. We hunted there that July.

Congrats Dalton & York. Glad this got all cleared up. I have been waiting to book a 2025 possibly late 2024 (if available) trip Zimbabwe. Based on all the reviews D&Y and two other outfitters are the top of my list.

I have hunted more with a 22LR and killed to many pigs to count. All of them were taken with a ear shot. As for a 22mag I have hunted more in African then in the US with one. I have shot Steinbuk, Grysbuk, Bush Duikers and two warthogs.
