Looks like this has been discussed before, but as a relative newbie here I wondered if and what the experienced folk put on their rifles... I've got a 416 Rigby for my bigger quests (buffalo on the menu at the moment) but for plains game I was going to go 375... have my eye on a swaro z6 1-10x42...

Afternoon all, Have lived in Africa before and done a bit of plains game hunting, now have taken on a 416 Rigby and planning a trip for some buffalo - hopefully early next year. Have been following a number of threads on here and it has been very informative! Hope to add some of my own in time.
