    Thoughts on Craig Boddington?

Been reading his work for decades; and still do. His personal economy is none of my business. Bankruptcy is a legal option. It’s no big deal to give away a few things that can’t be attached. If you’re not intentionally running bankruptcy scams, it’s part of business and life . I laugh at overly...

Why all the 6.5 Creedmoor Hate?

I did and now get ripped off from Nosler; or settle for Winchester brass(when available). They sell 325wsm(when availably) for $116 for 25 cases. Natchez has them(Nosler brass) for $84 for 25 pieces.WTF?. Sad but true. NOSLER SUCKS!!!

    325 WSM

Just because cartridges overlap doesn’t mean one overlaps in their collection. Hence why would one care and even seem negative? When I was a kid the elders had a saying: if you don’t have something good to say don’t say it.

why do people not use premium bullets?

Hey, whatever floats one’s boat or to each his own. Generally, I’ve rarely concerned myself with what others elect to do. If their actions aren’t affecting me in a negative way,I mind my own affairs and make my own decisions. And by the way , many people are still just wounding game. All the...

why do people not use premium bullets?

I know what you mean. I target shoot a lot more than I hunt. I reload with bullets I plan to use on hunts and use the same for shooting practice. Been reloading with Woodleigh. Getting a bit expensive. The money we spend on our tools and toys can get up there. I might try another approach for...

why do people not use premium bullets?

With all the knit picking on this topic I was wondering when someone would mention having two different projectiles on a hunt. There are varying factors that will come into play for terminal ballistics. All the factors can not be controlled all the time. Things like range, velocity for...

why do people not use premium bullets?

Cup and core bullets have been working just fine for many folks, for many decades. If you can’t fathom that, it is your issue. Quite frankly, their business is none of yours.

Your 3 favorite hunting cartridges of all time

I like your choices- very practical. 22lr,30-06,12gauge would cover everything too. However, many gun owners own many more than the aforementioned. Years ago I started with those three . Somehow I have many more than than three- many more than one needs. I’d wager many more folks have done...

Why all the 6.5 Creedmoor Hate?

Considering the 6.5 Swede has been around since the 1880s, it’s safe to say the gun writers touting the 6.5cm are whores and puppets of the manufacturers. Let’s put it another way. How come so called knowledgeable gun writers just discovered how great the 6.5 is ? Have they been asleep for the...

What's the big deal about buffalo anyway?

Knowing your quarry can toss you about as if you were a rag doll makes the hunt interesting. Come to think of it, the thought of spear hunting hogs sounds like it would be as much fun. I’ll have to look into it. Happy and safe hunting all.

Your favorite hunting rifle of all time

I love the 30-30. Both of mine are Marlins, but I understand your love of the Winchester. I do have a Winchester lever in 44magnum though. Really nifty with my 44mag Super Blackhawk revolver. Good quality hunting clothes and boots can be expensive. The great thing about outdoor activities is you don’t have to spend a lot of money on clothes if you don’t want to. Of course they do. It’s not likely the elites of a country are going to have them and theirs storming beaches or advancing toward the next objective.
