Yes, 9.3x62 is pretty versatile and hard hitting. ;) It might be my next rifle chambering.

    Converting 30-06 to 7x57

An noted above, you might be able to find a Ruger M77 in 7x57. I have one with the handy tang safety, and it has "the better" Ruger-made barrel (1991). Shoots lights out. Overall, a very nice utility-grade tool rifle. They can be had for under $1000 mildly used. This would save you a...

Your 3 favorite hunting cartridges of all time

...9x57 is pretty much a potato thrower like 45-70, so I'll just stick with 45-70 for dangerous game protection and guide duty. But, a Close runner-up is certainly 9.3x62 Once I receive my 7x65R, it might replace 7x57 on my list. :)

BRNO Effect? Break action single shot

The Czech retailer contacted me. They won't export. Too much red tape and cost. However, I begged them to sell me just the stock set, barrel (of course) and the firing pin assembly. Fingers crossed. It would be nice to have 7x65r !

    Hello from Canada

New to this forum. I enjoy hunting and fishing in the northern reaches of my rugged country, and have some great experiences. Next expedition will be in Namibia! I pretty much have limited my tools to a few brands and calibres, my favourites being proven classics: 6.5x55, 7x57, 7x64, 9.3x62...

Hello my good man. Do you, by chance, have a ZG-47 bolt for sale? I bought a lovely Brno model 21H with a missing bolt. I am looking for either a standard M21/22 spoonhandle or a ZG-47 bolt. Thanks in advance
