Me too @IvW. You may already know that The Namibia Professional Hunting Association (NAPHA) considers past prime animals the most highly prized and gives them extra consideration in their record book using The (ART) or Age-Related Trophy measurement system.

We hunted all the species by spot and stalk including the Klipspringer very fun. Put on 65.8 miles walking according to my phone and 1068 flights of stairs. I hunted 10.5 days total 3 days for the Eland.

I had a wonderful time at the main lodge too. The Elephant lodge was different country and the Rhinos and Elephants made for a special trip. If you get a chance to go I don’t think you will be disappointed.

My first trip to Africa (Namibia) while on the plane there I was ready to go back and I hadn’t been there yet. I too have had the Africa is not for me, so I have come to the point I’m going would luv you to experience too but your choice. I’m planning on my second trip in 2023.

The Zebra hunt was intense and I was amazed that at 400 Meters Issak could see that in the heard of 7 there were 2 males. He said one good mature stallion and 1 young one. Using the wind and terrain Issak got us into 155 meters and set the sticks up and got me lined out on the nice stallion...

Thanks it was a great time and I will highly Recommend Khomas Highland Hunting and Phillip Hennings anytime. I Rented a customized Mauser in 300 Win. Mag. It was Phillips father’s and had a suppressor on it. It was topped with a 2.5-10x44 Miopta. The load was 180 grain Federal Fusion.

I took this Steenbok high in the mountains where we were hunting Zebra. During my safari we saw Steenbok from the valleys to literally the tops of the mountains and the top is where we found this one.
