A Fairly standard powder charge for the 458 Lott is between 82 and 84 grains depending on the type of powder, Standard powder charge for the 416 Rigby is around 95-100 grains, again depending on the type of powder.

I've had the same experience, always great accuracy. Couldn't ask for anymore than that out of a big bore.

550 grain Woodleighs averaging 2141fps, 3 shot group at 60 yards. I'm happy with that! After shooting that group brought it up to about zero at 100 yards and put another 2 down range to confirm. She shoots!

I use 1.5-5 power scopes on all my hunting rifles, usually getting around with them set on about 2 or 2.5 power and then adjust to suit as I need to.

I know I'd probably regret buying something like this but it's awfully bloody tempting! That might be the nicest double I have ever seen!

No particular reason other than I had a very similar setup on my 500 Jeffery R8 a few years ago and it worked well. Cheek weld is still good and to be honest any lower and I think I would run out of clearance for my thumb when pushing the cocking mechanism forward.

I just bought a Blaser Kilombero in 458 Lott for buffalo in Africa, so I am a bit biased in saying you have made the perfect choice for a buffalo rifle. I'd love to see a few more pics of your Kilombero

I'm taking 458 Lott and 9.3X62 with me to Africa, so my vote is definitely going to be for the 9.3 as a second rifle.

CRF is my preference but I also love Blaser and Steyr rifles which are both push feed and never had an issue with either

Very good chance it will end up with a Leupold VX-3HD 1.5-5 on it, I already have this scope on 2 other rifles and use them so much it's like second nature to me looking through those scopes. Having said that I do like how the Aimpoint micro h-2 in a QD saddle mount sits on the Blasers.
