Thanks! I’ll make sure to do that. I’m blessed as my home is 1 mile from the national forest trailhead that I hike to get to them. It helps when you can see them year round and learn their seasonal habits.

Sierraone is right and I’m slow in replying. The Air Force has had me busy. It’s the 416 Ruger. Really enjoying getting to know this one. It’s a shooter and I’m hoping I get to use it on an elk over the next few weeks.

Sorry for the delayed response. The Air Force decided to put me on orders for a few weeks. About the 416. I’m hoping to get an elk with it. Been shooting it a fair amount and like how it’s handling and shooting.

Congratulations on a very nice rifle. Passed on one when my kids were babies and my wallet thin. Seems I recall classic calibers showing up in these pretty frequently too. I have one in 257 Roberts and 280 Rem. I also picked up a Winchester 70 Classic in 300 Weatherby new in the mid 90's...
