I´d go with the zebra, too. Having only hunted seven PG species yet my knowledge is quite humble, but a young plains zebra stallion was my first african animal and will stay in my brain and soul until the day I die.

The seasons differ, depending on which state you´re hunting. Where I live the season for roebucks and yearling does is from April 1st to January 31th. Adult does and fawns are hunted September 1st to January 31th.

In germany we basically hunt everything with the help of dogs. It´s even required by law to have dogs for tracking wounded game at reach.
Though you are asking for mammals we basically use dogs for the following kind of hunts:

We can, but it´s not an easy task. City people get very upset about hunters shooting feral cats and it´s the city people that reign. I´ve shot loads of feral cats and I will continue to do so, but you have to be very careful...and alone.
