The one shown to the left here is no longer in my possession. It does, however, now reside about a hundred miles south, and if I need to visit, I can. Cold turkey is TOUGH! I'm not sure the habit can ever be broken. VIVA Le 9.3x62!
As much as I hate to admit it, I just sold my 9.3 and have been having trouble sleeping since. Interestingly, the gent who bought it is older than I am, and I just turned 75. Just goes to show....
I bought a Husqvarna 9.3x57 on a FN '98 action and had it opened to 62. I had 450 into it before I added the Hogue, bolt handle, an 3-pos safety. It's a wonderful gun. See avatar. If I ever had to liquidate, it would be among the last half-dozen I wouldn't. Hold out for a '98.
Hello my friends. I'm an old new member who escaped from central PA to the shadow of Yellowstone Park. Went to the Limpopo region in '05 with a muzzleloader. Certainly one of the highlights of my life. Hope to get back there to hunt CB and a leopard. I wish you all well. TD
Hey Hammergun, I did exactly the same thing! I'm sellin' off stuff to keep an overdue date with a Big Tom before it's too late. Mine has a Hogue stock, Dednutz mount, Bushnell 3200 1.5-4.5x scope, 3-pos safety, and a straight down bolt handle.
