Mine is 375 Ruger. Several guide friends swear by the 375 Ruger as a bear stopper. So far I've only killed a caribou with it. Nosler Partitions at 225 yards are a bit tougher then they really need to be for a caribou but it went down within maybe 15 yards (lung shot). Almost shot a bear at close...

Toby I was going to order a HS Stock for my Ruger Alaskan. But I noticed the pictures and product codes for HS Precision and for Stocky's are slightly different. Did you order from Stocky's or HS? Any issues fitting with the barrel channel having enough room?
