    375 H&H load finally found!

Oh don't worry, I always reconfirm zero before taking a rifle afield. I will probably move it 1 click up and 1 click right just for giggles but for now Im just happy to have what looks like a good load for it.

That's at 100 yards, I neglected to mention that too.

    375 H&H load finally found!

I haven't figured out how to go back and edit the original message, I had my sequences messed up. The 2nd shot was the one I loaded up on the stock too much, 3rd shot was less pressure, 4th and 5th were free recoil like the 1st.

    375 H&H load finally found!

To save cluttering up the other thread about pet loads, I figured it might be better served to the AH community if I posted another thread. My rifle, a whitworth express, shot the 250gr ttsx loads great with RL15 but lets face facts, they are pretty expensive for anything short of Africa or...

AGENT: Anyone Have First Hand Experience With EAI Outdoors?

Taxidermy is a non issue, my daughter in law is what is considered to be one of the best in the business and if I mount anything it goes without saying that she will do it. To be honest though Im not sure I will even have anything mounted except MAYBE a kudu. I can take all the pics I want for...

AGENT: Anyone Have First Hand Experience With EAI Outdoors?

I hope I don't step on any toes here but I was just wondering if any of yall have been hunting with EAI Outdoors? Ive got a buddy here that works with them doing shows here in the states and has been multiple times that Im planning on going over with but I was curious if anybody here has been...

If there was a simple way to send them from my phone straight to here Id be happy to post pics but I don't have an image hosting site set up and sending them to email, then saving them to pc, then uploading is a lot of work and a lot of steps Im not too familiar with.

Im from what some folks would refer to as BFE LOL. Jackson co., middle of nowhere and that's just the way I like it. Chances are, if you know where that is its because you came here deer hunting. This is the first county people from east TN came to to deer hunt back in the 70s and 80s.

Thanks for the welcomes! As far as what Ive hunted goes, pretty much everything in the states with the exception of moose and bison. Just this year alone Ive been Ontario bear hunting, WY pronghorn hunting, MT mule deer hunting and TX for whitetails and hogs. I made those same 4 trips last year...

LOL Its been a slow, relaxing Christmas day here for me. Normally we are running like rabbits today but plans got changed and we are working the holiday around the rest of the family's schedule so Ive pretty much spent the whole day exploring this site and I LIKE what I see! I don't have...

    Help deciding on a Rangefinder

Leica. Ive not tried the sig offerings, but other than that, NOTHING will come close to a leica. I much prefer to carry a rangefinder and binoculars as opposed to a combo unit.

    How many shots?

Yeah, I get that. It wasn't like I meant it would be the only gratuity left with them. If however, say I take a 375 H&H shooting factory ammo, its not coming home with me. On the other hand, if I also took say my 300 ultra shooting 96 gr RL25 loaded SPECIFICALLY for my rifle, I don't see anybody...

    How many shots?

Just reading and learning here, but why bother bringing ammo home? If my PH or anybody else for that matter has a need for my extra ammo after the hunt is over they are more than welcome to it! From what Ive read here today, it seems a box of ammo over there can cost up to 300 bucks, so if I tip...

Hello! As a 54 yr old lifelong hunter it just stands to reason that my thoughts would eventually turn to hunting other continents besides North America lol. What brought me to this site was doing research on a .375 H&H I just came into possession of. After a couple days of digging around Im...
