Have the same set up on my Merkel, I do wish the mount was a little lower and it seem to be in the way when carrying one handed by throwing the balance off but the RMR is a game changer on a double. I took mine to RSA for the first time last week and took Lioness and stopped a Buff charge

IMO, “Trophy Hunting “ is a term used by anti hunting organizations to make it seem like when someone goes “ trophy hunting “ they are just there to kill an animal for sport or a mount on their wall. Got the double back from Merkel. I’m really happy with the results. The target was shot at 30 yards off sticks. I am going to shoot it off a bench at 50 and 100 yards the next time I get up to the farm.
