I took just about everything on my first safari with a 300 Weatherby Magnum, 180gr Swift A-frames. So I could have even gone with a heavier bullet but the 180s shot well. If you can shoot well with your current rifle then really consider sticking with it. Not to say you shouldn't go with a 375...
