The only other bullet mfg I can *always* find bullets from is Hornady. I've got loads worked up for Nosler, Swift, Lapua, and Woodleigh for my rifles. There's just none of that stuff out there, at least not when i'm looking.

I think that's optimistic, even for a 7mm RM. 2750 with that AF should get you to about 550 or 600 yards at 5k feet elevation, and around 800 yards at really high altitude 10k feet or so - and still be right at 2k fps

That's not likely a stabilization issue. A 9.5 twist is fast enough to stabilize all but the longest 175 gr bullets like Accubond LR, TSX, and Hammer bullets longer than the 160 gr Hammer Hunter. Berger has an online twist calculator if you're interested.

Lots of guys like shooting heavy bullets. If 180 gr 30 cal is somebody's thing, 300 WSM is fine. If they like 200+, then pretty much every 30 magnum is a better choice.

I'm not a huge fan of 300 WSM. With its short neck, it isn't as suitable for 200+ gr bullets as the other 30 cal magnums. Bullet run-out is a thing, after all.
