    CZ Feed Issues

Swara I ended up getting 2 CZ 550's one from the CZ Custom Shop and the other a standard CZ Safari. Both feed fine with no issues yet. I have had Sakos in the past, and see why people are love them. When I wanted a big bore a friend of mine had two that I liked, and got both, it's tough to...

Is the .375 H&H strong enough

Well said and the reason why I purchased recently a 416 Rigby and 505 Gibbs for my future Safari (?). And if I don't go on a safari, the big bore makes for a great conversation piece !

    CZ Feed Issues

Sakos are nice and usually very accurate! I saw two Safari Grade Sakos yesterday, one a 450 Rigby and the other a 416 Rigby, very nice wood, these large cartridges use the over size action that Sakos makes, very nice, but the price is scary, over $10,000 each. For that kind money I would get a...

I also have a 340 Weatherby which I had built on a Mauser action (Mark X) and a #3 barrel shoots great but can break your teeth if you don't shoot it correctly. It has a fiberglass stock and is a bit light for a heavy recoiling rifle, probably kicks more than a 375, since it is a little light...

Shootist43, You are correct, Cape Buffalo hunting is very in-expensive compared to a Brown Bear hunt, which a friend of mine went on. Looks like a starting point around $10k but by the time air travel and trophy fees somewhere around $15k.

Thanks for the responses, I see it didn't take long to get good information. The feeding issues on the CZ 550 action is a bit concerning, I like my rifles to function perfectly, especially one intended for DG. Just to give a little background on me I have a large bore rifle, a 50 BMG. I...
