Yeah. Same as when I export guns out of the states For over here it adds a fair bit to them Worst bit with this one is one of the club members has got involved and got hold of the reloading gear for all his guns
I’m in on this it’s down the road from me so I will be bidding I’ve been waiting on it going to auction since the owner past on and it was decided to sell his collection at peters
So has anyone tried the Lapua 220 naturalis in this caliber would be really interested to hear from anyone that has on results as just gonna load some up to test
Interesting info guys as ever thanks I was looking at getting the SnB bullet heads just for using for the running deer/boar comps I shoot over here but thought they would do for roe ECT at a push
Ahhhh your killing me with this I thought my 416 rem was enough in a No1 . And now my mate tells me he could be selling his 458 and his 400/450 ne numbers 1s and I'm doing my utmost to resist and now I've read this post oh bugger
I'm running one of the triple K belt slides for my 9.3x74
But mucking around on the loading bench noticed my 410 shotgun belt will hold both my 9.3 and my 416 rounds not sure I'm gonna need 30 rounds on my waist though
Been watching this a bit as I'm looking for the same caliber to match up with my 9.3/74R double
So the question is has anyone of you fine gents on here any experience with the Haenel jäger 10 synthetic in this caliber as the importers in the UK have just offered me one at a CMOT price not quite...
Finally heard back from the folks at Leupold earlier today here's what I got back
That scope serial number is to old for me to look up its from the early 90s most likely a vari X model .
All I can say is I'm glad I never bothered calling them from the UK and sitting on hold to be told that...
Howa. Actions are fine for the money the factory guns shoot good enough for hunting and they do use a floor plate but you can get a DM system for them if needed
I'm just about to do one with a Hardy carbon wrapped barrel in 6.5x47 as a light weight hunting rifle for deer here in the uk
that's interesting thanks for that info
I've just been playing with it next to an old Weaver K2.5-1 I've got kicking around and I would say no bigger in the magnification for sure just shorter and lighter
It's a rifle scope the eye relief is around 3 inches not a handgun scope at all
And...
Hmmmmm cheers for that
So it could be an 93 build and that would match age condition of the scope as its deffo not a new optic that's for sure so really doubt it's a counterfeit I only gave 125 bucks in English so no biggie either way it either survives or it don't it was more a case of being...

Been reading this and noticed no one has mentioned the 338/06 is it just the fact that you have to load for it put people off or bad results ?
Asking as I was thinking of building one up for next years trip to SA
Been using them for years in my Styer Manlichers both Double set and single set and have a double set in one of my mausers really love them I find them great for hunting never had an issue with them
Shit I live in the UK didn't even know we had a Chanel like this on TV but won't be paying for it if it's pulling stuff off because of a bunch of loonie lefties
Had a go with a mates one of these the other day over here in the UK interesting idea about the same sound as a rimfire in firing very accurate I have to say and nearly every bolt went through his archery target some went 5 inches through the 1/2 inch ply board behind it so it's very caperble of...
