It really boggles my mind how lazy people are in this country (USA). We have totally lost our work ethic in this country. Swift has stopped producing .375 AFrames since October. The can has been kicked down the road yet another month. They said they would have ammo coming off the factory line by...
Thank you all for answering this question if you have some experience. I know this has probably been asked a million times.
If you were to book an African safari with 1 rifle, a 300 win mag. It was a combo plains game hunt for various things. Zebra, Kudu ect ect. But the main trophies on the...
Big fan of Zeiss here, just wondering what anyone knows what they're up to? Just got an email about something big on the Horizon.

Quick question guys.
When you all sit for Leopard or croc. Do you all sight your rifles in for that exact distance. For example my 300 wm is 1 1/2 inch high at 100 yards. Same with my .375.
My PH tells me we will shoot no further than 60 yards for leopard. Should I just sight it in at 60 yards...
I'm going back to Africa in exactly 1 year next June for a Leopard hunt 14 days and possibly hyena. My goodness I've always been a big fan of Zeiss, Swaro and Kahles scopes for extreme low light hunting. I just received my new S&B Polar T96 4-16x50 today. This thing has 96% light transmission in...
I've never killed one but very anxious next year. Yes I've seen all the videos the brain shot is difficult if not prone and with a very steady rest. I'm just thinking. In a perfect world if you were hunting a croc and he was broadside at 60 yards on a sand bank. Are you aiming for the brain or...
Is there such a thing as a high fence croc hunt? I was on youtube watching a crocodile hunt with a well know hunting personality. The hunt was taking place along the Limpopo in South Africa. It was pretty entertaining. The host of the show was looking for a 14 footer plus. I noticed they were...
I'm sorry if this has already been posted or inaccurate. I ordered a rifle through a Cooper distributor almost 2 years now. I've been patient because my hunt in Africa is 2024. I called a few days ago, sounds like Cooper has been sold to some Germany company that has a factory is Arkansas. The...
Hey guys I just saw an ad from a reputable operation in Zambia that said they are offering a lion hunt & you have a virtual guaranteed shot at a lion a male for 85,000 and you can import your trophy back to the US.
WTH? I shot my lion in the Kalahari in 2017 and the full mount has been sitting...
Hey guys just a question. Please don't shoot me I'm just asking a question. Is it possible to hunt 14 foot+ crocs in South Africa? I know in S Africa there have been lion breeders and such and so on for different camps. I was at a convention in Miami and I had a guy tell me that they also have...
Gentleman and ladies..... Good day to you all. I hope everyone is happy and healthy and free of Covid or anything else.
This is my 3rd trip to Africa. 2014 father son plains game hunt. 2017 husband wife hunt, she was just an observer. That hunt was for a lion and other plains game. I did a...
Thoughts and experiences? This will be my first time hunting in Zambia. Planned a dream safari. Leopard Buffalo Eland Warthog and Croc hopefully a 15-17 footer. I'm stoked about all the other animals but can't find much on trophy crocs there.
Gentlemen and ladies if you're here.
Just got a few questions. I've been to Africa now twice. 14 with my dad. 16 with my wife. First hunt did the whole plains game thing in S Africa. Shot like 6 animals. Wonderful time.
16 my wife and I did more plains game, bigger stuff like Kudu, Zebra and...
I dont know if you guys remember. But I made a post here around October 2016 asking about Big 5 calibers. 416 vs 375 is what I narrowed it down to. I ultimately select the 416 Rem mag.
I have a Lion hunt coming up in 2 weeks. Lion, Kudu, Black Wildabeest and Warthog. Ill be using my .325 wsm...
Gentlemen, hello this is my first time to this forum and I'm excited to be here. I've been scrolling the last few days just reading. Signed up today because I have a mighty task at hand.
A little about me I'm 43 years old. I've hunted mainly in Canada & across North America. I've hunted almost...
