    Ruger No.1 9.3 x 74r With Extras

Can’t say anything from experience about the rifle, but the caliber is something I’ve shoot a lot. Let’s put it this way, even after a driven hunt without any game coming by you. It’s one sexy bullet to unload. Love the 9,3x74r and hope to bring it to Africa one day soon.

Sounds like you have one out of many possible 8mm combinations. I would guess it’s a 8x57 but then there are many different kinds of that round. Ir, irs,is making it even more complicated the ammunition sometimes are labeled J instead of I with from the beginning was a misunderstanding on the...

We have restrictions on number of firearms you may have for hunting per person. I know it’s probably saved me a lot of money, but I wish we didn’t have that restriction. Sounds like a nice drilling you got from your dad. What make is it? That age of the gun and coming out of Germany or Ferlach...

I have hunted wild bore, fallow deer, roe deer, moose, foxes, hares, badgers, geese and pigeons. Probably forgetting some species but most of my hunting is for wild bore and deer. My rifle for a driven hunt or just a stalk in the woods is a Merkel 961. It’s a double rifle (drilling) in caliber...

I hope you have a great journey! Probably the first time I hear somebody say the 1896 Mauser as what they liked most about Sweden. Impressed by the number you have, more impressed that you are making sure that the grandchildren will be hunting. The future is looking better already!

Thanks for the warm welcome. As I have traveled the world and by far the most memorable journey I’ve made was to Kenya. I know my first hunting trip will be the first of many. I want to hunt all species over time, on my death beed I would like to have done it all, but a few species do stick...

As a new member to this lovely forum I felt the need to state my new membership and write a few word about myself. When people ask me if I Hunt a lot (people that don’t know me), my answers is always, Not enough! I live in Sweden, and I must admit I work, renovate my house, pay attention to my...
