Nice specimen, but AWFULLY pricey. When I grabbed mine in from a small gun shop in northern Wisconsin several years ago, I paid in the ballpark of $500. Even that was more than I really thought I needed to spend, but I did.

I'm with Papabear55 on this one. I scoped my recent Whitworth 375 H&H acquisition with a VX5HD 2-10 Firedot Duplex in QR rings and mounts. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks all. I just acquired a Whitworth 375 H&H and it has been Magna-Ported. Not a big fan of brakes or porting so I'll more than likely shorten barrel enough to remove the Magna-Porting - 21-22".

Why a Whitworth? Simple answer - because I want one. Taking the above a step further, I have a Whitworth in 30-06, and figure the pair - a 30-06 and 375H&H would make a perfect pair for a trip to Africa, should I decide to take 2 guns.
