Hello BB
Thanks for congrats
1. 750 grain 240fps.
2. I practice for a long time with and without a stabi. I saw not a difference, not in grouping and not in noise. This short stabis are not really stabilizer's. A working stabilizer must be longer as hunting stabis.
Don, the guest of North Dakota brings me the rib of a buffalo. He has caught him at 40 yards too far back. He still had the chance to get rid of two more arrows with the result that the buffalo try to took him and Jonathan stopped him with the .458. He goes down in a distance of 8 ft..
My shot was not good but also not realy bad.. The direction diagonally across the body voted. The arrow has two overlapping rib on one side and a solid rib on the other penetrated. The Silverflame remained intact.

A friend me use an 5 years old bow with 90 # and an arrow with 800 grain. His draw length is 27".
I use an 70'# Destroyer. My draw length is 30" and the arrow...
sorry, I found your answer above and my mind is the same as Yours. I use a Destroyer 70# with an axis fmj dg and 210 grain silverflame . The weigt is 750 grain and the speed is 240 fps.
I will hope this is enough for a dugga boy
Hi Gerhard,
Your are right, there canot be power enough for buffalo. But think about older hunters ore hunters with a handicap in the arm ore shoulder. I can't draw not more as 70#. But my bow is a speed bow and nearly so fast as on older 90# bow. Important is the momentum not the KE (Dr.Ashby)...
