I have got a Leupold VX6 1-6*24 on my 416 Rigby with the German#4 Reticle, mounted with Warne QD's . I do remove the scope quite often, never had any zero issues after 2 years. I really enjoy the setup , and worked well for plainsgame as well as a buffalo hunt last year.

Quality bullet, with proper shotplacement will do the job

Beginning of April, Far North Limpopo, Impala, BWB, Eland , maybe a Kudu End of May , Kwazulu Natal , Red Duiker , Njala , and or Bushbuck July , our Family Hunt , Limpopo , Impala Warthog , BWB August , a corporate hunt , still to be confirmed 2018 Will be a DG hunt again .

Why not consider the VX6 1-6*24 . I have one on my 416 Rigby, and rate it very high. On my 30-06 I have a VX1 3-9*50, and the VX6 makes up with quality and clarity where it lacks the extra magnification of the 3-9 VX1. Up to 150 yards in my experiance I will rather have the VX6 with its lower...
