I’m in ft worth and evaluated multiple taxis for my first Africa hunt. I’ve had a few other things mounted and mixed reviews on results (still hanging in my house). Gizmo happened to be in town when I reached out. No regrets so far and I’m certain will have good results

I have my grandfathers 300 savage that has killed a couple deer, Texas sheep, and a pig with me. Planned to take to Africa but don’t reload and the last few boxes of core lokt I bought shot all over the place. I need to get it to someone to work up a load and see what’s up. Damn beautiful gun.

Bushpig and a giant warthog. We spent 2 laaate nights after bush pigs and shot a couple warthogs but no walhangers. They are what make me want to go back. That will be combined with a buffalo hunt for sure though

Bought a house in September. Between that and work I havnt been able to hunt like usual. Had a yearly hunt with a vendor outside DFW and was able to shoot a decent nine point and a his girlfriend. Freezer is now full.

Have two warthog skulls, one warthog skin. There’s a breaking point where it’s not “worth” bringing the animals back if cost more then the original hunt. Rather eat the 3k already spent than spend another 8k. Hoping that’s not the case though
